We are embarking on a program of global business transformation enabled by the implementation of a new global technology solution. The delivery and embedding of this technology solution across our highly successful and highly de-centralized business will change the way we work forever, enabling greater data insight, simplification of processes and ways of working and creating greater collaboration across the business.
Purpose The Solution Architect in partnership with our SI partner and SAP will be responsible for designing our global SAP template, and regional localisations for each Wave of the roll-out,
following a ‘Fit to Standard’ approach. He/she will own the end to end SAP solution, and chair the Design Authority, ensuring the right governance is in place to effectively manage key design decisions, solution scope and adherence to best practice, and SAP standards. This role will require excellent SAP technical skills across a wide portfolio of the latest SAP Cloud products, and strong experience of delivering global SAP transformation programs.
Scope
Will involve international travel and flexibility in working hours aligned with a global role.

Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the end-to-end solution design; defining solutions that are fit for purpose in terms of strategic alignment, quality, cost and time, and adhere to target architecture
- Embed user-centric “design-thinking” principles, optimising UX design standards and coaching the wider team in how to apply these principles
- Lead the ‘fit-to-standard’ design process to establish a TwiningsOvo ‘Global Template’ that meets the needs of all our businesses and lead the business design validation and
- acceptance process
- Manage localisations and protect the ‘Global Template’ as the solution is rolled-out through multiple deployment Waves
- Robustly challenge any deviations from SAP standard, best practice solutions and manage the FRICEW inventory
- QA/approve technical deliverables from internal teams, our SI partner and other external third parties
- Define ‘End-to-End’ business scenarios to be used during design, the solution validation process and to feed into test scenario scoping
- Chair the Design Authority governance forum
- Support and mentor the business analysts and development teams in delivering joined up end to end solutions providing guidance and best practice where necessary
- Ensure all components of a solution are considered and aligned including; functional and non-functional design, integration, infrastructure, security and service transition
- Key contributor to the target architecture and technology roadmaps. Working with vendors to understand technology roadmaps and the best use of technology
- Provide technical expertise and knowledge to support design prototyping and maximise the value of prototyping by taking forward the learnings and outputs into the solution and
- end-to-end design
- Lead the creation of project deliverables and complete key deliverables in accordance with the project plan timeline
- Ensure the SAP Landscape is designed for effective maintenance on an ongoing basis and drives business benefit
- Manage escalations necessary to ensure solution integrity and efficiency, and ensure senior management is aware of significant issues or opportunities
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the SAP product set and its strategic direction
Skills,
Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 10 years SAP delivery experience with at least 5 years’ experience as a SAP Solution Architect, having delivered multiple full lifecycle implementations
- Experience of Global SAP implementations and transformation

- Solid technical experience in SAP S/4HANA, and at least three of the following SAP Cloud products;
- SAP Business Technology Platform Integration and Extension suite

- Experience of delivering SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure (rather than On-Premise) would be an advantage

- Demonstrable experience in implementing Architecture
- Development and Governance Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and ability to understand, guide and/or solution the business, application, data and infrastructure domains of architecture
- Possess a solid understanding of AGILE development methodologies
- Ability to understand, explain and present technical ideas to both
- technical and non-technical audiences at all levels up to senior
- management in a persuasive and convincing manner
- CPG industry experience.
- Experience of working in a quick paced international business, and working with teams in different geographies
