Job Title: Solar Project Engineer

Designation: Engineer / Sr. Engineer (Based on Experience)

Qualification: Diploma in Engineering, B.E / B.Tech

Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

- Rooftop Solar Project Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute rooftop solar PV projects from site survey through commissioning and handover, ensuring quality, safety, timelines, drawings, specifications, and cross-functional coordination.
- Site Survey & Technical Feasibility: Conduct detailed rooftop surveys, verify measurements and obstacles, collect technical data, coordinate with design teams, and identify site constraints with practical installation solutions.
- Testing & Commissioning: Coordinate pre-commissioning, electrical testing, connection verification, inverter commissioning, grid synchronization, performance checks,



troubleshooting, and safe energization as per approved procedures.
- Documentation & Handover: Maintain project documentation, material records, as-built drawings, commissioning reports, and complete handover records for project closure.

Must Have Skills

- Ability to conduct and interpret rooftop site survey information.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in rooftop solar installation and project execution.
- Ability to read and interpret SLDs, electrical drawings, rooftop layouts, and installation drawings.
- Ability to coordinate with customers, contractors, technicians, vendors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Positive To Have Skills

- Experience in residential and C&I; rooftop solar projects.
- Experience with net metering / net feed-in projects.
- Knowledge of MNRE / CEA / DISCOM requirements and applicable electrical standards.
- Experience in solar project BOQ/BOM and material planning
