Role Description The Software Product Growth Intern will work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to support the growth and optimization of Vrittas’s digital products, with a primary focus on MessagePe.

Day-to-day responsibilities include

Software Development: Support coding, feature development, bug fixing, testing, debugging, and improvement of MessagePe.

Product Development: Assist with requirements, feature planning, testing, documentation, issue identification, and product improvements.

Product Growth: Understand the ICP, identify acquisition opportunities, test growth ideas,



and contribute to customer acquisition.

Sales & Partner Program: Undertake prospecting, cold calling, follow-ups, customer conversations, and deal development.

Customer Feedback: Capture customer problems, objections, feature requests, and usage feedback and communicate useful insights to the product/technical team.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of software development and programming concepts.

- Ability to learn and work with software development tools, codebases, APIs, databases, testing tools, or other technologies used by the product team.
- Hands-on development experience through academic projects, personal projects, internships, or GitHub projects is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to investigate technical issues independently.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and prospects.
- Willingness to make cold calls, handle rejection, and consistently follow up with prospects.
- Ability to understand both technical product requirements and customer/business requirements.
- High ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to work in a fast-moving startup workplace. Ability to document work clearly and communicate technical issues, requirements, and progress to the team.
