Job Title: Integration Software Engineer (ES – Petrophysics)

: The Integration Software Engineer role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining subsurface software applications. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and integrate cloud-native geophysics workflows supporting seismic processing, imaging, and inversion. Key skills include C++, Python, Azure, and application engineering.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain desktop and cloud-based integration solutions using modern software stacks.
- Collaborate with Petrophysicists and engineers to translate domain workflows into robust software applications that reduce subsurface uncertainty and cycle times.
- Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and data pipelines that support well log interpretation, petrophysical analysis, reservoir characterization, and subsurface digital workflows.
- Ensure software quality, usability, and performance through unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment strategies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Provide technical mentorship and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in geology, geophysics, computer science,



or engineering (master's degree preferred).
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry with subsurface geology and geophysics domain knowledge.
- Proficiency in OOP including C++ and C#, Python, .Net Framework, Azure services, and DevOps.
- Experience with parallel computing, AI/ML technologies, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge and working experience of software architecture & design patterns.
- Understanding authentication and cybersecurity protocols including OAuth.
- Familiarity and experience with OpenGL, Qt, and OSDU is a plus.
- Familiarity with Petrel, Techlog, Studio, and related subsurface tools is a strong plus.
