Job: Software Engineer II
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java Spring Boot,
React.js and Android.
- Architect end-to-end solutions, integrating front-end, back-end, and data layers (SQL/NoSQL).
- Own Android features from UI to data — build polished interfaces in Jetpack Compose, business logic in Kotlin /
Java, and local storage with Room.
- Modernize legacy Android code by migrating Java modules to idiomatic Kotlin and introducing clean architecture
(MVVM/MVI, Hilt, coroutines, Flow).
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and agile development.
- Mentor and coach developers, conduct code reviews, and guide technical growth.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, DevOps, and QA to align on requirements and execution plans.
- Establish and enforce development standards, design patterns, and architectural principles.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and lead efforts for optimization and refactoring.
- Oversee estimation, sprint planning, and technical task breakdown.
- Provide thought leadership and evaluate emerging technologies for team adoption.
Qualifications:
- Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Proven production experience building Android apps with Jetpack Compose.
- Expert-level Kotlin (coroutines, Flow) plus strong Java Spring Boot expertise.
- Deep knowledge of the Android ecosystem: Navigation Component, WorkManager, Room, Hilt, release process.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Kafka, or Elasticsearch.
- Prior experience leading agile teams and collaborating with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Key Skills Required:
- 5 to 7 years of full-stack development experience,
with hands-on Android delivery.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Kotlin-based Android development.
- Strong experience with React.js, Redux, and contemporary JavaScript and Typescript (ES6+).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and OAuth/JWT-based security.
- Proven hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

- Advocate for ethical, secure, transparent, and customer-first use of AI technologies.
Drive Continuous Innovation
- Stay up to date with emerging AI/GenAI frameworks and cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and help identify opportunities for adoption within product roadmaps.
