About This Opportunity

Job Title: Software Engineer II (iOS)

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
- Own end-to-end iOS application development, from requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support with minimal dependencies.
- Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable application architecture following iOS best practices.
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to scalable mobile architecture decisions.
- Build responsive, secure,



and high-performance applications with an exceptional user experience.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, authentication frameworks, analytics, payment gateways, and third-party SDKs.
- Optimize application performance, startup time, memory usage, battery consumption, and network efficiency.
- Implement offline capabilities, local persistence, caching, synchronization, and background processing.
- Write unit tests, UI automation tests, and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and App Store releases.
- Monitor application health, investigate crashes, and improve application stability using analytics and crash reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver production-ready features.
- Stay updated with the latest iOS platform capabilities and adopt modern development practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Educational & Required Qualifications:

· 5-6 years of experience in native iOS application development.

· Hands-on experience with Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Xcode, and the iOS SDK.

· Proven experience delivering production-grade iOS applications independently from development through App Store deployment.

· Strong understanding of MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, VIPER, dependency injection, and modular application architecture.

· Experience with Swift Concurrency (async/await), Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), multithreading, and lifecycle management.

· Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, OAuth, JWT authentication, and secure keychain storage.

· Hands-on experience with Core Data, SQLite, Realm, or other local persistence frameworks.

· Strong understanding of mobile security, encryption, certificate pinning, and secure coding practices.

· Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, Git, Fastlane, CI/CD pipelines, Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics, and App Store release management.





· Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, Swift Concurrency, WidgetKit, App Intents, Live Activities, and modern Apple frameworks.

· Knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines, accessibility standards, and application performance optimization.

· Experience with mobile observability, telemetry, and performance monitoring.

· Exposure to AI/ML integration or on-device machine learning is an added advantage.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to independently drive features from design to production.
