About This Opportunity Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.

· Own end-to-end Android application development, from requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support with minimal dependencies.

· Build scalable, modular, and maintainable Android applications following modern architecture principles.

· Participate in system design discussions and contribute to scalable mobile application architecture.

· Develop secure, high-performance,



and responsive mobile applications with excellent user experience.

· Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, authentication mechanisms, analytics, payment gateways, and third-party SDKs.

· Optimize application performance, startup time, battery usage, memory utilization, and network efficiency.

· Implement offline-first architecture, local persistence, caching, synchronization, and background processing using Android best practices.

· Develop automated unit tests, UI tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure engineering excellence.

· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and Google Play Store releases.

· Monitor production applications, troubleshoot crashes, and continuously improve application reliability and performance.

· Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

· Stay current with the latest Android platform features, libraries, and development practices.

· Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Educational & Required Qualifications:

· 5–6 years of experience in native Android application development.

· Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, Android Studio, and Jetpack Compose.

· Proven experience delivering production-grade Android applications independently from development through Google Play Store deployment.

· Strong understanding of MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, modularization, dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger), and scalable application architecture.

· Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, multithreading, WorkManager, and Android lifecycle management.

· Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, OAuth, JWT authentication, and secure local storage.

· Hands-on experience with Room Database, SQLite, DataStore, or Realm.

· Strong understanding of Android security, encryption, ProGuard/R8, secure storage, and application hardening.

· Experience with JUnit, Espresso, MockK, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics,



and Google Play release management.

· Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Navigation Component, Dynamic Feature Modules, and modern Android architecture.

· Knowledge of Material Design, accessibility guidelines, and application performance optimization.

· Experience with mobile observability, telemetry, and performance monitoring tools.

· Exposure to AI/ML integration or on-device machine learning is an added advantage.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to independently drive features from design to production.
