Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Executive who can understand a brand, its target audience, and its market positioning, and translate that understanding into an effective social media presence. The role will involve content planning, social media management, audience engagement, competitor analysis, trend identification, and developing ideas to improve the brand’s reach and engagement across social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand the brand, its products/services, target audience, tone of voice, and overall market positioning.
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the brand’s objectives.
- Create and coordinate engaging content ideas including reels, posts, carousels, stories, and other social media formats.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, trending formats, audio, hashtags, and content styles relevant to the brand.
- Manage the brand’s social media presence and ensure regular and consistent posting.
- Monitor and improve key social media metrics such as followers, reach, impressions, engagement, shares, saves, comments, and profile visits.
- Actively engage with the audience through comments, messages, polls, stories, and other interactive formats.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand their content strategy, campaigns, engagement, positioning, and growth activities.
- Identify opportunities and recent content ideas based on competitor activities, audience behaviour, and industry trends.
- Analyse social media performance and identify what content is working, what is not working, and why. Suggest new strategies and creative ideas to increase brand awareness, engagement, reach, and follower growth.
- Work closely with the design, content, and video teams to develop high-quality social media creatives and videos.




- Coordinate content shoots when required and help plan concepts, references, scripts, and shot requirements.
- Maintain consistency in the brand’s visual identity, communication style, and tone across platforms. Prepare regular social media performance reports with key insights, observations, and recommendations. Keep track of social media trends and identify which trends can be meaningfully adapted for the brand.
- Continuously experiment with new content formats and engagement strategies to improve the brand’s social media performance.

Required Skills:

- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media content and engagement strategies.
- Good creative thinking and ability to generate fresh content ideas.
- Ability to understand different brands and adapt content according to their target audience.
- Good knowledge of competitor research and social media analysis.
- Understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
- Ability to identify trends and understand their relevance to different brands.
- Basic knowledge of content creation, and social media planning.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple brand accounts/projects.
- Experience managing social media accounts for brands.
- Experience in planning and coordinating content shoots.
- Basic understanding of Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, or similar social media analytics tools.
- Experience working in a digital marketing or creative agency will be preferred.

What We Are Looking For: Someone who doesn’t just post content, but understands why a brand needs to post it. The ideal candidate should be able to look at a brand’s social media presence, identify gaps, study competitors and audience behavior, and come up with practical ideas to improve content quality, engagement, reach, and overall social media growth.
