Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake Development, Data Warehousing, and ETL. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions using Snowflake and contemporary data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.

- Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for integrating data from multiple sources.

- Perform hands-on Snowflake development, including database objects, tables, views, schemas, stored procedures, and data transformations.

- Design and implement efficient data models for enterprise data warehousing.

- Develop complex SQL queries and optimize Snowflake workloads for performance and cost.

- Implement data ingestion and transformation processes using appropriate ETL/ELT tools.

- Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform data validation, reconciliation, quality checks, and troubleshooting.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve production issues.

- Establish best practices around data architecture, development, performance, and maintainability.





- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to data engineering team members.

Mandatory Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in Snowflake Development.

- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.

- Strong experience in ETL/ELT development.

- Excellent SQL skills.

- Experience with data modeling, transformations, and data integration.

- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake workloads.

- Ability to independently design and develop data warehouse solutions.

Good to Have

- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar.

- Experience with cloud data platforms.

- Knowledge of Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, and Stored Procedures.

- Experience with Python/PySpark.

- Exposure to CI/CD and Git-based development practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Snowflake professional with strong experience in data warehousing and ETL, capable of taking ownership of development activities while providing technical leadership to the team.
