Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with robust experience in Snowflake and dbt to design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with dbt development, Snowflake features, Git integration, DevOps, CI/CD, SQL, and Python.Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.

- Develop and maintain dbt models, tests, snapshots, and macros.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation and data lineage within dbt projects.

- Work with modern Snowflake capabilities, particularly Dynamic Tables, alongside dbt models.

- Utilize Snowflake Notebooks for development and deployment of environment changes.

- Implement and manage Snowflake DevOps practices and processes.

- Manage dbt environments and targets across Development, Testing, and Production.

- Execute SQL scripts and dbt projects directly within Snowflake using Git repositories.

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Snowflake Git integration and dbt.

- Implement Slim CI, state-based runs, and automated testing gates as part of pull request workflows.

- Develop Python scripts and dbt Python models, where appropriate, for orchestration, automation,



and data processing.

- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and other technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

- Follow best practices for code quality, version control, testing, deployment, and data engineering standards.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.

- Strong experience in dbt (data build tool).

- Excellent SQL skills.

- Experience developing dbt models, tests, snapshots, macros, and documentation.

- Knowledge of Snowflake Dynamic Tables.

- Experience with Snowflake Git integration and DevOps capabilities.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of dbt Slim CI and state-based deployments.

- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab or similar version-control platforms.

- Strong Python programming/scripting skills.

- Experience working across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
