Job Summary

This team is accountable for ensuring the foundation cloud platforms are secure and compliant by ensuring security posture visibility across the cloud estate, enabling threat detection and prevention capabilities, and designing and operating appropriate controls. The team also ensures risk assessments are completed on time for the cloud platforms and supports audit readiness activities.

Job Requirements

- Python - automation, integration scripting, data extraction (hands-on)

- Shell scripting (Bash) - cloud-native automation (hands-on)

- YAML / JSON - IaC, policy definitions and configuration files

- Microsoft Azure - Azure Policy, Functions, Defender, Key Vault (hands-on)

- AWS - SCPs, Lambda, Config, IAM, KMS (hands-on)

- Terraform - modular IaC for multi-cloud provisioning and policy-as-code (hands-on)

- Crossplane - Kubernetes-native IaC for cloud resource orchestration (hands-on)

- CI/CD pipeline integration - GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps

- Security quality gates - vulnerability, misconfiguration and policy checks

- Shift Left Security - early-stage integration of security tools in SDLC

Job Responsibilities





- Ensure foundation cloud platforms are secure and compliant.

- Ensure security posture visibility across the cloud estate.

- Enable threat detection and prevention capabilities.

- Design and operate appropriate security controls.

- Ensure timely risk assessments and support audit readiness activities.

- Enable onboarding and adoption of CNAPP solutions using Terraform.

- Integrate Shift Left Security into CI/CD pipelines.

- Build remediation workflows using serverless functions.

- Enforce governance through Azure Policies and AWS SCPs.

- Develop Kubernetes-native integrations for secure orchestration.

- Enforce and monitor security baselines for cloud platforms across all layers.

- Report security posture visibility of the cloud estate to CISO and CIO functions.

- Coordinate with internal product teams, Cyber Defense and Vulnerability teams.
