Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Head AHP O&M; to lead the Operations & Maintenance activities of Ash Handling Plants (AHP) at Thermal Power Plants.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in AHP O&M; across multiple Thermal Power Plant units, preferably having managed more than 5 units. The candidate should be capable of independently managing site operations, manpower, maintenance, safety, client coordination and overall contract performance.

Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

AHP Operations & Maintenance

- Lead the complete Operations & Maintenance of Ash Handling Plants at Thermal Power Plant sites.
- Manage AHP O&M; activities across 5+ Thermal Power Plant units.
- Ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of ash evacuation and handling systems.
- Monitor daily operations, equipment performance and plant availability.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure minimum downtime and quick resolution of equipment failures.
- Monitor critical AHP equipment, systems and spares.

Site & Team Management

- Take complete ownership of site operations and overall contract performance.
- Lead and manage a large team of O&M; engineers, supervisors, technicians and operators.
- Plan manpower deployment, shifts and resource requirements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure workforce productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong discipline and operational standards at site.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact with Thermal Power Plant management and client representatives.




- Maintain strong relationships with plant authorities and other stakeholders.
- Attend review meetings and ensure timely closure of client concerns.
- Ensure contractual commitments and KPIs are achieved.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to EHS and safety procedures across all AHP operations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, client and company safety requirements.
- Drive a robust safety culture and zero-incident mindset.

Maintenance & Cost Control

- Plan maintenance schedules, shutdown activities and major equipment overhauls.
- Monitor consumption of spares and maintenance materials.
- Control site operating costs while maintaining equipment reliability.
- Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and reducing downtime.

MIS & Reporting

- Monitor and report key operational parameters, equipment availability and downtime.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly O&M; reports.
- Track KPIs, maintenance activities, manpower and safety performance.
- Provide regular updates to senior management.

Candidate Requirements

- 15+ years of experience in Thermal Power Plant operations and maintenance.
- Strong hands-on experience in AHP Ash Handling Plant O&M; is mandatory.




- Should have experience managing AHP O&M; operations across more than 5 Thermal Power Plant units.
- Strong understanding of Ash Handling systems, equipment and maintenance practices.
- Proven experience in site leadership and large team management.
- Strong client coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Good knowledge of preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Strong understanding of safety and statutory compliance.
- Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
- Willingness to work at project sites across Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a senior AHP O&M; professional with 15+ years of Thermal Power Plant experience, strong exposure to managing 5+ units, and proven capability in leading large-scale site operations. The candidate should be technically strong, client-focused and capable of independently managing the complete AHP O&M; function.
