Role & responsibilities :

To lead and manage all mechanical and piping construction activities for Oxygen Plant (ASU) projects, ensuring secure execution, quality compliance, schedule adherence, and successful commissioning of plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical & Piping Construction

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical and piping erection activities for Oxygen Plant/ASU projects.
- Execute installation of cold box and associated piping, compressors, pumps, columns, heat exchangers, vaporizers, storage tanks, pressure vessels, and associated equipment.
- Supervise fabrication, erection, alignment, fit-up, welding, and testing of process, utility, and cryogenic piping systems.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Project Execution
- Monitor project schedules and ensure achievement of construction milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, commissioning, and client teams.
- Review GA drawings, P&IDs;, isometric drawings, equipment layouts, and construction packages.
- Identify construction bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Site Management
- Manage construction supervisors,



engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources for optimum productivity.
- Conduct daily progress reviews and site coordination meetings.
- Verify contractor work quantities and certify progress measurements.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Monitor welding activities, NDT requirements, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, and cleaning activities.
- Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams and client representatives.
- Ensure proper documentation of test reports, inspection records, and mechanical completion dossiers.

Safety Management
- Enforce HSE requirements and permit-to-work systems at site.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure safe handling of heavy lifts, pressure equipment, and cryogenic systems.
- Maintain zero-incident construction performance.

Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Support
- Coordinate mechanical completion activities.
- Support loop checking, system handover, pre-commissioning,
