Role / Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise across the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) applications, complemented by solid ServiceNow platform development skills. The role requires hands-on configuration and development experience, along with exposure to Now Assist (GenAI capabilities within ServiceNow), to help design, build, and continuously enhance risk, compliance, and platform solutions for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow GRC and IRM applications, including Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management modules.
- Build and customize ServiceNow platform components – workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, Flow Designer flows, and Integration Hub spokes.
- Configure and extend Now Assist capabilities to support GenAI-driven use cases within GRC, IRM, and platform workflows.
- Translate business and compliance requirements into scalable technical designs, in partnership with architects and functional consultants.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party risk, security, and enterprise systems.
- Support data modeling, content configuration, and reporting/dashboards for risk and compliance stakeholders.
- Participate in unit testing, defect resolution, release management, and platform upgrade activities.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and change/release governance processes.




- Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Must-Have Skills

- 5+ years of overall ServiceNow development experience, with a demonstrable focus on GRC / IRM applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform fundamentals – Scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), Flow Designer, Integration Hub, UI Builder, Business Rules, ACLs.
- Working knowledge of Now Assist / GenAI features within the ServiceNow platform.
- Practical experience with GRC/IRM constructs – Risk, Policy, Control, Audit, and Compliance data models.
- Experience building and consuming REST/SOAP integrations and working with Integration Hub spokes.
- Sound understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACL/security architecture, and update set/release management.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist – GRC/IRM.
- Exposure to Now Assist skill/agent configuration or generative AI use-case development on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with Security Incident Response (SIR) or Vendor Risk Management (VRM) applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology and DevOps practices for ServiceNow.
- Prior experience supporting large enterprise or regulated-industry ServiceNow programs.
