About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager with 5+ years of hands-on experience who can lead the SEO team, manage client relationships, and drive organic growth for high-value Education Domain clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong SEO fundamentals along with practical knowledge of AI-driven search, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). You should be confident in client communication, team management, strategy development, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO team to achieve defined organic growth targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for education-sector clients.
- Handle client communication, meetings, presentations, requirements, and regular performance discussions.
- Build SEO strategies aligned with business goals, lead generation, visibility, and conversions.
- Manage On-Page, Off-Page, Technical SEO, Local SEO, and Content SEO activities.
- Develop and implement AEO and GEO strategies to improve visibility across AI-powered and answer-based search platforms.
- Understand the impact of AI Overviews, generative search, LLMs, and AI-driven search behaviour on SEO.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, website audits, and content gap analysis.
- Monitor and improve rankings, organic traffic, leads, CTR, conversions, and other SEO KPIs.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other relevant SEO tools.
- Work closely with Content, Performance Marketing, Social Media, and Web Development teams.
- Prepare and present SEO reports, insights,



action plans, and growth strategies to clients.
- Identify SEO opportunities, algorithm updates, technical issues, and emerging search trends.
- Ensure timely execution and quality delivery of SEO campaigns.

Requirements

- 5+ years of skilled SEO experience, with proven team-handling experience.
- Strong experience working with Education Domain / Universities / Colleges / EdTech / B-Schools will be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Technical, On-Page, Off-Page, Content, and Local SEO.
- Practical knowledge of AEO, GEO, AI SEO, and AI-driven search.
- Excellent English communication and client-handling skills.
- Confident in conducting client meetings, presentations, and strategy discussions.
- Strong team leadership, delegation, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple clients and SEO projects.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working with data and SEO performance metrics.
- Ability to think strategically while also ensuring execution by the team.
