We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in WordPress development, custom themes/plugins, ACF, Gutenberg, SSO integrations, and deployment processes using WP Engine and GitHub Actions (GHA).

Key Responsibilities

·Develop, customize, and maintain complex WordPress websites and applications.

·Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements.

·Work extensively with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom Gutenberg blocks.

·Develop and customize Gutenberg blocks/components for flexible content management.

·Integrate WordPress with third-party APIs and external systems.

·Implement SSO integrations using miniOrange or comparable SSO solutions.

·Manage WordPress deployments through WP Engine environments.

·Work with GitHub Actions (GHA) for CI/CD and automated deployments.

·Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, integration, and production issues.

·Optimize WordPress websites for performance, scalability, SEO, and security.

·Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA teams, and project managers.

·Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to WordPress coding standards and best practices.

·Debug and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.

·Participate in technical discussions and provide solutions for complex development challenges.

Required Technical Skills





·8+ years of professional WordPress development experience.

·Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.

·Strong experience with WordPress Core, custom themes, and custom plugins.

·Hands-on experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).

·Strong experience developing/customizing Gutenberg blocks.

·Experience with Git/GitHub and version control.

·Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions (GHA) for deployments/CI-CD.

·Experience working with WP Engine hosting and deployment environments.

·Experience implementing SSO integrations using miniOrange or similar solutions.

·Good understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

·Experience with WordPress security, caching, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

·Understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
