ABOUT THE ROLE

NAZZTEC is looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to take ownership of the development and technical transformation of our corporate website.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, custom themes, plugins, API integrations, SEO, performance optimization, security, and website deployment.

The candidate will work closely with the business and design teams to transform the existing website into a modern, premium, responsive, secure, SEO-friendly, and enterprise-grade digital platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

WordPress Development

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build custom WordPress themes based on business and design requirements.
- Customize and integrate WordPress plugins.
- Develop reusable and scalable WordPress components.
- Manage WordPress architecture, CMS structure, and content hierarchy.
- Develop responsive websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Implement lead-generation forms and website functionality.
- Develop blogs, resource centers, landing pages, and service pages.

Custom Development & Integrations
- Strong hands-on development using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Develop custom WordPress functionalities and modules.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party applications.
- Implement forms, CRM integrations, analytics, and other business integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.

Website Revamp & UI Implementation
- Convert approved UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress pages.
- Improve website navigation, usability, and overall digital experience.
- Implement modern layouts, banners, graphics, and interactive elements.
- Ensure pixel-accurate and cross-browser-compatible implementation.




- Work with UI/UX and content teams to deliver website updates.

Performance & SEO
- Optimize website speed and performance.
- Implement Core Web Vitals best practices.
- Perform technical and on-page SEO implementation.
- Optimize images, scripts, database, caching, and website resources.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.

Security & Maintenance
- Implement WordPress security best practices.
- Perform security hardening and vulnerability mitigation.
- Configure backup and recovery mechanisms.
- Keep WordPress core, themes, and plugins updated.
- Monitor and troubleshoot website performance and security issues.

Migration & Deployment
- Handle website migration and deployment activities.
- Support production workplace setup.
- Coordinate hosting, DNS, SSL, and domain-related activities.
- Conduct QA and UAT before production release.
- Provide post-go-live technical support.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge-transfer material.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for a hands-on WordPress Developer who can independently manage the technical development lifecycle — from website development and customization to optimization, security, migration, deployment, and post-launch support.

Experience delivering websites for IT Services, Cybersecurity, Technology Consulting, Cloud, SaaS, or Professional Services companies will be an added advantage.
