SAP FICO Vertex Integration Consultant

Experience: 7–10 years in SAP Vertex integration

Role Summary

SAP FICO professional with solid expertise in Vertex tax engine integration and SAP interface development. Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP ECC/S4HANA–Vertex integration for indirect tax automation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build integrations between SAP and Vertex O Series/Vertex Accelerator
- Perform data mapping and transformation across SAP FI, P2P, OTC, and Vertex tax processes
- Develop and enhance ABAP-based interfaces, reports, and RICEF objects
- Work on Vertex Accelerator configuration and integration framework
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and Technical Specifications (TS)
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate tax requirements into technical solutions
- Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution




- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to VAT, GST, and Sales Tax

Required Skills

- Strong SAP ABAP expertise, including interfaces, enhancements, and RICEF
- Hands-on experience with BAPI, BADI, User Exits, IDocs, Web Services, and APIs
- Solid understanding of Vertex Accelerator and integration tools
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO, P2P, and OTC
- Experience in data mapping, interface design, and integration architecture

Good to Have

- Experience with Vertex O Series, Vertex Cloud, and S4HANA implementations
- Familiarity with SAP PI/PO or CPI
- Knowledge of global indirect taxes, VAT, GST, e‑invoicing, and DRCMandatory Skills : FICO (GL-AR-AP-AA-BA-CEA-CCA-PCA-IO-TR)
