? The Role

You'll lead the development of Snapfix's cross-platform app, bringing our native iOS, native Android, and web experiences into a cohesive product.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a senior frontend engineer with strong UI/UX skills. You'll shape user flows, make architecture decisions, and build polished interfaces alongside our existing platform engineers and Product and Design teams. We're open to the technology that best serves our users, with thoughtful decisions about what to share and what to adapt for each platform.

? What You'll Own

- Cross-platform delivery: Choose a practical technical approach and lead implementation, planning an incremental transition that protects existing user workflows.
- UI/UX quality: Turn complex requirements into intuitive flows and polished interfaces. Prototype ideas, refine interactions, and use customer feedback to improve usability across devices.
- Shared frontend foundations: Build maintainable architecture, reusable components, and consistent design patterns that respect each platform's conventions.
- Production quality: Own performance, accessibility, testing, and release reliability, including API integration, secure authentication, and clear behavior during slow or lost connectivity.
- Technical leadership: Break down projects, guide technical decisions, mentor engineers, and align platform teams around clear standards and priorities.
- AI-assisted development:



Use AI daily for prototyping, coding, testing, and iteration, taking responsibility for the correctness, security, and usability of what ships.

? What You'll Bring

- Senior frontend experience: 5+ years building production frontend or mobile applications, including hands-on ownership of cross-platform delivery from architecture through launch.
- Strong UI/UX judgment: Shipped work demonstrating clear user flows, thoughtful interaction design, and visual polish. You can explain your personal contribution, design decisions, and how they improved usability.
- Cross-platform expertise: Deep experience with at least one approach, such as React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform, or hybrid web/mobile development. You understand the tradeoffs between shared code and platform-specific experiences.
- Frontend fundamentals: Robust skills in component design, state management, responsive and adaptive layouts, accessibility, performance, and testing, alongside practical experience with APIs and asynchronous data.
- Hands-on leadership: You've led projects, guided other engineers, and collaborated closely with designers and product managers. You can turn ambiguity into manageable work and communicate clearly across time zones.
- Fluent AI-assisted development: You use AI tools effectively throughout development and can explain how you review, test, and improve their output.

? Nice to Have

- Experience migrating separate native and web applications toward a shared cross-platform architecture.
- Experience with offline-first apps, real-time collaboration, photo-heavy workflows, or field operations products.
- Experience using product analytics and experimentation to measure and improve user experience.

? Location Remote within India, or based at Snapfix headquarters in Ahmedabad.
