The Senior Sales Manager Knitted Fabric (Delhi NCR) will be responsible for driving sales, customer acquisition, sourcing, and revenue growth for knitted fabrics across Delhi NCR and nearby markets.

The role will focus primarily on developing new customers, managing existing accounts, understanding customer fabric requirements, sourcing suitable fabrics from manufacturing partners, negotiating commercial terms, and converting opportunities into orders.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in knitted fabric sales and an established network among garment manufacturers, exporters, brands, buying houses, fabric traders, and other textile businesses in Delhi NCR.

Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development Major Responsibility Drive knitted fabric sales across Delhi NCR and nearby markets. Identify and acquire new customers including garment manufacturers, exporters, brands, buying houses, retailers, and fabric traders.

Develop new business opportunities through market visits, customer meetings, references, and networking. Generate leads, develop the sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into orders. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.

Drive repeat business and increase sales from existing customers. Regularly visit customers and understand their upcoming fabric requirements.

Knitted Fabric

Sourcing Source knitted fabrics based on customer requirements such as composition, GSM, construction, finish, quality, price, and delivery timelines. Identify and develop reliable fabric manufacturers and suppliers in Delhi NCR and nearby markets. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and suitable product options. Negotiate sourcing prices and commercial terms to maintain healthy margins. Develop a strong supplier network to support customer requirements and sales growth.

1. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.



Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate knitted fabric qualities. Manage sampling, quotations, negotiations, and order closure. Maintain regular communication with customers and ensure timely follow-up. Resolve customer queries and coordinate internally to ensure smooth order execution. Drive customer retention and repeat orders.
2. Market Development Identify new customers and untapped opportunities across Delhi NCR and surrounding markets. Track competitor pricing, market trends, product demand, and customer requirements. Develop market intelligence and share relevant insights with the management. Expand Whizzo's customer base and market presence in the knitted fabric segment.

5. Order Execution & Coordination Coordinate with sourcing, quality, production, and logistics teams for smooth order execution. Follow up on sampling, production, quality approvals, dispatch, and delivery. Ensure customer commitments are met within agreed timelines. Coordinate on payment follow-ups and collections where required. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, orders, and business opportunities. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

7-12 years of experience in knitted fabric sales, textile sales, fabric marketing, sourcing, or business development.

Strong experience in knitted fabric sales is preferred.

Established customer network across Delhi NCR and nearby markets. Experience working with garment manufacturers, exporters, brands, buying houses, fabric traders, or textile businesses.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and acquiring new customers.

Solid understanding of knitted fabrics, pricing, quality, sourcing, and market dynamics.

Strong communication, negotiation, customer relationship, and commercial skills.
