The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end execution and management of construction site activities, including planning, manpower, subcontractors, materials, quality, measurements, billing, progress monitoring, and coordination with consultants and clients.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, technically strong, commercially aware, and capable of independently managing a construction site with minimal supervision from senior management.

The role requires strong execution, problem-solving, coordination, and team-management skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and as per approved quality standards.

Compensation -

8-15 LPA, depending on experience, technical capability and previous project responsibility. An exceptional candidate with proven experience in independently managing large projects may be considered outside this range .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Planning & Project Execution

- Take complete responsibility for day-to-day civil construction and site execution activities.
- Plan and execute work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, construction methodology, and project schedules.
- Prepare short-term execution plans and coordinate activities to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor actual progress against planned schedules and identify potential delays at an early stage.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve site constraints and ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned activities while maintaining required quality standards.

2. Technical Execution & Quality Control

- Supervise civil works including RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
- Read, interpret, and implement structural, architectural, and MEP drawings at site.
- Ensure all construction activities are executed strictly as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure quality requirements are consistently maintained.
- Coordinate with consultants and inspection teams for approvals and inspections.
- Identify construction defects and ensure timely rectification and closure.
- Ensure proper construction practices, methodologies, and site standards are followed.

3. Contractor, Subcontractor & Manpower Management

- Manage and coordinate civil contractors, subcontractors, and site labour.
- Plan manpower deployment based on project requirements and execution priorities.
- Monitor labour productivity, resource utilization, and contractor performance.
- Allocate work fronts and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and resources.
- Verify contractor work completion and measurements before processing bills.
- Address contractor-related execution issues and ensure timely resolution.

4. Quantity, Measurement & Commercial Control

- Review BOQs, drawings, quantities, and site measurements to ensure accuracy.




- Take and verify measurements of executed works for contractor billing.
- Prepare, check, and verify RA bills and supporting documentation.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, and overall resource utilization.
- Maintain quantity reconciliation for major construction materials.
- Track project quantities against BOQ provisions and identify variations.
- Identify potential cost overruns, excess consumption, and unnecessary wastage and report them to management.

5. Material Planning & Procurement Coordination

- Prepare material requirements based on the construction programme and site priorities.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Plan material requirements in advance to avoid execution delays.
- Verify the quantity and quality of materials received at site.
- Ensure materials are stored, handled, and utilized appropriately.
- Maintain proper records of material receipts, consumption, and stock levels.

6. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly site progress reports.
- Track physical progress against project schedules and planned milestones.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on:
- Physical progress and key milestones

- Manpower deployment and productivity

- Material availability and requirements

- Contractor and subcontractor performance
- Quality issues and rectification status
- Site constraints and potential delays
- Quantity, billing, and commercial matters
- Escalate critical issues proactively and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain proper site documentation, records, measurements, and progress data.

7. Client, Consultant & Internal Coordination

- Coordinate with the client, architect, structural consultant, MEP consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Attend regular site meetings and provide updates on execution progress and technical matters.
- Coordinate resolution of design, drawing, and execution-related issues.
- Ensure site instructions and consultant/client comments are properly documented and implemented.
- Maintain professional working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

8. Site Safety & Compliance

- Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate with the safety team to maintain safe working conditions at site.




- Ensure proper housekeeping, access, material storage, and work practices are maintained.
- Report unsafe conditions and support timely corrective actions.
- Ensure site activities comply with approved procedures, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Desired profile:

- 8-15 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site execution.
- Robust experience in building construction and end-to-end site management.
- Proven ability to independently manage construction sites with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Good understanding of BOQ, quantity estimation, measurements, variations, RA bills, and quantity reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience managing contractors, subcontractors, manpower, and site resources.
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute work based on structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and execution practices.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Good commercial and cost-control awareness.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
