Role Description The Senior Project Execution Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for leading end-to-end execution of environmental and technology transfer projects, ensuring milestones, quality standards, and budgets are met.

Day-to-day tasks include planning project timelines, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, managing procurement and expediting activities, and overseeing inspection and logistics related to project deliverables. The role also involves monitoring risks, preparing progress reports, supporting contract and documentation processes, and driving continuous improvement in execution practices.

Manager will mentor team members, promote safe and compliant work practices, and ensure alignment with IVL’s sustainability and research-focused objectives.

Qualifications

- Project Management skills, including experience in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Expeditor and Expediting skills to track orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of project materials and services.
- Inspection experience to oversee quality checks, compliance with technical specifications, and verification of deliverables.
- Logistics Management expertise to manage transportation, warehousing, and material handling in line with project needs.
- Previous experience in environmental projects, engineering, or infrastructure sectors, preferably in a managerial execution role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Relevant academic background in engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
