Senior Project Manager Construction
Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented and experienced Senior Project Manager to take complete ownership of residential and commercial projects undertaken by the company from project inception and planning through execution, completion and handover.
The candidate will act as the central point of coordination between the management, architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, internal departments and statutory agencies, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within approved budgets and to the required quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong ownership, decision-making ability, coordination skills and the ability to drive multiple stakeholders towards clearly defined results.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned residential and commercial projects from inception to completion and handover.
- Understand project objectives, timelines, budgets, specifications and deliverables set by the management.
- Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules, milestones and execution plans.
- Coordinate effectively between all internal departments including design, architecture, procurement, finance, sales, legal, accounts and administration.
- Coordinate with external architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, project management consultants, vendors and specialist agencies.
- Act as the single point of coordination for project-related matters and ensure timely communication between all stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress on a day-to-day basis, identify bottlenecks and take corrective action proactively.
- Ensure that project activities remain aligned with approved drawings, specifications,
budgets and timelines.
- Drive contractors, consultants and vendors to meet committed deadlines and deliverables.
- Review and monitor project costs, material requirements, contractor bills and variations in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment and resources required for uninterrupted execution.
- Work closely with architects and consultants to resolve design issues and ensure timely release of drawings and approvals.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities and external agencies wherever required for project-related approvals, permissions and compliances.
- Identify project risks, delays and potential issues in advance and escalate critical matters to management with practical solutions.
- Conduct regular site and project review meetings and maintain transparent action points, responsibilities and deadlines.
- Ensure that decisions taken by management are effectively communicated and implemented at site.
- Monitor workmanship, quality standards, safety requirements and adherence to project specifications.
- Ensure proper documentation, records, approvals, drawings, measurements and project correspondence are maintained.
- Coordinate the final stages of testing, finishing, snag rectification, statutory requirements and project handover.
- Ensure successful completion of projects with a focus on time,
cost, quality and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 10–15+ years in construction/project management, preferably with a reputed real estate developer or construction company.
- Experience handling residential and/or commercial real estate projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project planning, contracts, consultants, procurement and site execution.
- Experience managing multiple contractors, consultants and external agencies.
- Proven ability to independently manage projects and deliver against time, cost and quality targets.
- Engineering/Architecture qualification preferred.
- Candidates with strong exposure to developer-side project management will be preferred.
