Job Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Execution
- Supervise daily production activities to achieve planned production targets.
- Ensure timely completion of production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor machine utilization, manpower, and production efficiency.
1. CNC / VMC Machining Supervision
- Manage production operations involving CNC, VMC, turning, and precision machining.
- Ensure proper machine setup, tooling, and production processes.
- Coordinate with operators and setters to minimize machine downtime.
1. Team Management
- Supervise and guide production operators, setters, and other shop-floor employees.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Train employees on standard operating procedures and safety practices.
1. Quality & Process Improvement
- Ensure production activities comply with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department to resolve production-related quality issues.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintenance & Safety
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to reduce machine breakdowns.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety procedures.
- Monitor proper handling of tools, equipment, and raw materials.
1. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily production reports and performance updates.
- Coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, stores, and management teams.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Production Documentation

- Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in precision engineering, CNC machining, or automobile component manufacturing.
- Robust leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage production targets and shop-floor operations.
- Experience in handling multiple CNC/VMC machines and production teams.
Required Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- Relevant experience in precision engineering or CNC machining is preferred.
