We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Test Engineer specializing in Performance Testing to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Load Runner, Performance Center, Apache JMeter, and BlazeMeter. This role is critical in ensuring the performance and scalability of our software applications, contributing to the overall quality and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Utilize Load Runner and Performance Center to conduct load and stress testing, ensuring applications can handle expected user loads.
- Implement and manage performance testing using Apache JMeter and BlazeMeter for various applications.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights to development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Continuously monitor and improve performance testing processes and methodologies.
- Prepare detailed performance testing reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in performance testing and recommend improvements.
Mandatory Skills:
- Solid expertise in Performance Testing using Load Runner and Performance Center.
- Proficient in Apache JMeter and BlazeMeter for performance testing.
- Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in analyzing performance metrics and identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-based performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Understanding of application performance monitoring tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in performance testing tools are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
