MEP Engineer

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at the project site.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and approved shop drawings.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural and civil teams.
- Monitor electrical, plumbing, firefighting, HVAC, and related building-service installations.
- Identify and resolve MEP clashes before and during execution.
- Coordinate with MEP contractors, consultants, vendors and site engineers.
- Ensure execution is completed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor material requirements, installations, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Verify contractor work quantities and support billing/measurement checks.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure rectification of identified issues.
- Monitor MEP work progress against the project schedule.




- Ensure proper sleeves, openings, shafts, and service routes are coordinated before civil execution.
- Maintain MEP documentation, inspection reports, and progress records.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.
- Report progress, technical issues and delays to the Project Manager.

Required Skills
- Solid understanding of MEP systems in residential/high-rise buildings.
- Ability to read and coordinate MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and HVAC systems.
- AutoCAD knowledge required; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.
- Good contractor and site coordination skills.
- Understanding of testing, commissioning, and quality-control procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Candidates with high-rise residential project experience will be preferred.
