We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager to lead and manage EPC project execution activities. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in Mechanical Execution, Fabrication, Insulation, Structural & PEB Works, along with excellent project planning, client handling and team management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Execution & Site Management

- Overall responsibility for day-to-day Mechanical EPC project execution.
- Plan, supervise and control Fabrication, Erection, Installation, Insulation and Structural Works.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, quality and safety requirements.
- Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed within planned timelines.
- Identify site constraints and coordinate for timely resolution of technical and execution issues.

Project Planning & Scheduling

- Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Work Plans.
- Develop manpower, material, equipment and resource requirements.
- Prepare execution schedules and monitor progress against planned targets.
- Coordinate with planning/project teams for MIS, DPR and progress tracking.
- Monitor critical activities and take corrective action to avoid project delays.
- Maintain proper work-front and activity-wise planning.

Manpower & Team Management

- Plan and manage manpower deployment as per project requirements.
- Lead Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Technicians, Skilled & Unskilled Manpower.
- Allocate work responsibilities and monitor team performance.




- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
- Ensure discipline and smooth coordination between all site teams.

Client / Consultant Handling

- Independently handle Client / Consultant coordination.
- Attend regular project review and coordination meetings.
- Discuss technical and execution-related issues with the client.
- Coordinate for drawing approvals, inspections, work fronts and clearances.
- Maintain professional relationships with client representatives and project stakeholders.
- Follow up on pending approvals and site requirements to maintain project progress.

Drawing & Technical Knowledge Candidate should be capable of reading and interpreting:

- P&ID;
- Isometric Drawings
- GA & Layout Drawings
- Fabrication Drawings
- Structural Drawings
- Equipment Drawings
- PEB Drawings
- Shop / Assembly Drawings

Structural & PEB Experience

- Good knowledge of Structural Fabrication & Erection.
- Experience in PEB Structure execution / supervision will be highly preferred.
- Ability to understand PEB drawings and coordinate fabrication/erection activities.
- Ensure structural works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Quality & Documentation

- Good knowledge of Quality Reports and project documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and documentation.
- Review / maintain Inspection Reports, DPR, Work Completion Reports and Progress Reports.




- Ensure quality requirements are followed during fabrication and erection.
- Coordinate inspection activities with Client / Consultant / QA-QC teams.

Quantity, Billing & Project Control

- Monitor work quantities and physical progress.
- Coordinate with billing/commercial teams for measurement and supporting documents.
- Support preparation of client billing, RA Bills, quantity statements and work completion documentation.
- Track material, manpower and resource utilization.
- Monitor project targets and execution productivity.

PREFERRED PROJECT EXPERIENCE Candidates having experience of working on GPS Renewable Projects and/or Reliance Projects will be preferred.

Experience in large-scale EPC / Mechanical / Renewable / Industrial Projects with exposure to Fabrication, Erection, Insulation, Structural & PEB Works will be an added advantage.
