The duties and responsibilities of a Laboratory Technician include:

- Preparing samples for testing using various types of laboratory equipment
- Performing laboratory testing, including pH and bacterial culturing
- Recording all data and results in specified forms with accuracy and responsibility
- Maintaining equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
- Ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Conducting experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods
- Organizing and storing all chemicals substances,



fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions
- Documenting all activities, record results and insert/retrieve data in/from various computer databases and maintain laboratory inventory
- Working with chemists, biologists, microbiologists, or other professionals, interpreting results, and conducting further testing as needed
- Must have Mandatory Lab Experience in Fertilizer Industry with 7-8 yrs experience
