Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and proactive Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services using Java and Spring Boot. The candidate will be responsible for REST API development, database integration, application logic, testing support, and deployment activities. The ideal candidate will have strong Java fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of databases, along with a passion for building scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-quality enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

- Implement business logic, validations, and integration workflows.
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases for data storage and retrieval.
- Write clean, maintainable, and secure backend code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers for API integration.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, deployments, and issue troubleshooting.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for backend service containerization, deployment, and runtime support.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude,



Cursor AI, or equivalent tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Required Qualification: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • 6 - 10 years of relevant qualified experience in full stack development and associated technologies.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, including database integration and SQL queries • Experience in developing RESTful services, handling JSON data, implementing input validation, and managing errors effectively.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools such as Claude, Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Jira, and Visual Studio Code, along with a basic understanding of CI/CD practices and development workflows.
- Knowledge of the banking and trade domains is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
