About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure to develop and optimize scalable backend services. This role involves designing and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS ECS, RDS, MSK and S3 while ensuring high performance and security.

You will work closely with our DevOps and product teams to build a resilient, event-driven architecture using Kafka and microservices.

Responsibilities

- Develop scalable microservices using Java & Spring Boot
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS ECS (Fargate & EC2-based)
- Design cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services like RDS, S3, and MSK.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Optimize MySQL databases on AWS RDS for performance and reliability
- Secure APIs & backend services with OAuth2 and JWT.
- Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes




- Improve CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and scaling
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray
- Collaborate with DevOps for managing AWS IAM roles, security policies, and cost optimizations

- Java – Solid expertise in backend development
- Spring Boot & Microservices – Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven systems
- AWS ECS & VPC – Deploying microservices in containerized environments
- AWS RDS (MySQL) – Optimizing database performance
- Apache Kafka / AWS SNS & SQS – Event-driven messaging experience
- Docker & Kubernetes – Managing containerized applications at scale
- Security & IAM – Experience with OAuth2, JWT, AWS IAM roles, and policies
- CI/CD Pipelines – GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
