Location: Chennai Experience: 8–15 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

Responsible for complete HVAC system design, coordination, BOQ preparation, shop drawings, engineering calculations, equipment selection and execution support for industrial, commercial and pharmaceutical projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare HVAC design basis, heat load calculations and equipment selection.
- Design ducting, chilled water, ventilation, exhaust and pressurization systems.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, sections, shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Architectural teams.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs and technical specifications.
- Support site execution,



testing & commissioning and resolve technical queries.

Software Skills AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Carrier E20, Navisworks, MS Excel

Standards Knowledge

ASHRAE, NBC, SMACNA, IS Codes, NFPA

Key Competencies

- Robust coordination and communication skills.
- Leadership of design team.
- Preparation and review of shop drawings.
- BOQ and estimation experience.
- Client/consultant coordination.
- Quality and schedule management.
