Purpose The Procurement Senior Executive (INDIRECT) will manage the sourcing and procurement of to manage procurement of laboratory chemicals, Services, Stationary, Laboratory chemicals & reagents, Glassware & plastic consumables, Laboratory gases, Lab equipment spares, Calibration and testing services, production & admin department while ensuring cost optimization, regulatory compliance, time delivery, and vendor performance management.

Job Responsibilities

1.

Procurement

Operations

Handle end-to-end procurement cycle from PR to PO & PO to material delivery for laboratory materials and services to avoid laboratory downtime.

2.

Vendor

Management

Identify and develop vendors for: Services, Stationary, Laboratory chemicals & reagents, Glassware & plastic consumables, Laboratory gases, Lab equipment spares, Calibration and testing services, RS, Analytical laboratory services





Conduct vendor evaluation and qualification, Monitor vendor performance (OTIF, quality compliance, responsiveness).

- Cost Optimization

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Conduct rate contracts / annual contracts for high-consumption items. Benchmark prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Compliance & Documentation

Ensure procurement follows GMP / GDP / company SOPs.

Maintain complete documentation for: Vendor qualification, Purchase orders Quotations and comparison statements

Coordinate with: QC laboratories, R&D; teams, QA department, Stores and finance
