- Ensure availability of machines as per the production plan & carry out maintenance activities in the shift
- Manage maintenance in the Section/ shift and ensure adherence to daily checklist as per the preventive maintenance
- Carry out execution of corrective and predictive maintenance projects for higher availability of equipment
- Supervise indirect contractual staff workers and provide support to Section Head to maximize shift productivity
- Carry out implementation of defined process improvement initiatives, monitor performance of the machines in the shift and escalating key issues to section Head
- Prepare and provide daily health status of machines, maintain log files record, housekeeping audit score and coordinate with CMD for internal system reports
- Ensure proper usage of safety equipment in the plant and ensure regulatory and legal compliance to health, safety and environment norms (ISO standards.)
- Complete and fulfil all statuary requirement like CEMS systems to govt authorities
- Ensure Calibrations of systems and instruments as PM schedule and requirements
- Ensure the physical condition of field instruments & if any abnormality found then correct the same
- Identify Energy saving initiative and implement them along with Shift operations
- Efficient shift handling with Zero breakdown and zero accident
Electrical:
- Ensure all electrical panels drawings and other required drawing are updated & available
- Ensure maintenance of complete coal mill, packing plant, cement mill, wagon tippler, switch yard, hopper building to attain maximum running hours and availability of all equipment with minimum spare and maintenance costs
- Ensure Timely completion of drawing like Cable tray routing, panel layout, lighting, Earthing
Instrumentation:
- Ensure proper working of instrumentation machines at cement mill, packing plant and other parts of GU
- Ensure all software back up are done for system requirement. Ensure to keep all system software licenses updated.
- Manage telephone exchange commissioning
- Manage DCS Logic modification & operator graphics development for power consumption reduction
- Maintain Setting related systems like AAQMS, Stack dust monitor, ground water flow meter & STP flow meter
- Ensure proper calibration & maintenance of weighing equipment's, VVFD drives, WB's & other cement mill instruments
- Maintain earthing system, UPS, XRF & Utility equipment's in the GU
