Position: Dialysis In-Charge / Senior Dialysis Technician (In-Charge)

Alam Hospital & Research Centre is seeking an experienced, proactive, and clinical-minded Dialysis In-Charge to lead daily unit operations, maintain high-standard infection control protocols, and ensure top-tier care for renal patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Unit Operations Management: Oversee daily hemodialysis shift scheduling, bed allocation, technician/nurse assignments, and patient flow in the Dialysis Unit.
- Clinical Supervision: Ensure proper execution of hemodialysis, SLED, and CRRT procedures under the guidance of the Consultant Nephrologist.
- Equipment & Water Plant Maintenance: Monitor RO water plant quality standards, conduct routine maintenance checks on dialysis machines, and manage reprocessor inventory.
- Infection Control & Quality: Enforce strict infection control policies, sterilization protocols, and maintain NABH accreditation documentation.
- Consumable & Stock Management: Monitor dialyzer stocks, blood tubing sets, concentrates, and specialized disposables to prevent inventory shortages.
- Patient & Family Counseling: Address patient queries, manage vascular access care education (AV Fistula/Catheters), and handle operational escalations smoothly.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: B.Sc in Dialysis Technology / Diploma in Dialysis Technology (DDT) / B.Sc Nursing with specialized Dialysis certification.
- Experience: 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in a busy hospital dialysis unit, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of RO water treatment systems, dialysis machine troubleshooting, AV fistula cannulation, and emergency resuscitation protocols (BLS/ACLS preferred).
