Role : DevOps Engineer

Objective of the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a proactive approach to ownership, driving initiatives and ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with both technical and productgoals.

You Will:

•Be working primarily on a set of digital products focused on consumer facing containerized web & mobile applications, content streaming, distributed data stores, data engineering & analytics, serverless functions & hosting of API's.

•Be responsible for doing all the technical implementation as per the requests in JIRA for different self-hosted & managed resources on AWS in an automated fashion, using the best practices of DevOps, security & cost optimisation.

•Be creating all the automation scripts in Gitlab & aware of the Gitflow model for pull requests.

•Create documentation for everything Cloud DevOps in Confluence.

•Be self-driven, individual contributor, aware of Agile Scrum methodology to participate in project activities.

You must have:

•Graduate with 5-8 years of relevant work experience in AWS & DevOps.

•Extremely knowledgeable on Linux, Shell Scripting, AWS core services (VPC, EC2 S3 IAM, RDS), Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, ArgoCD,GIT, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana.

•Regular use of AI tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and AWS CLI scripting, with the ability to refine AI-generated configurations and validate changes using practices such as terraform plan and dry runs.





•Strong operating system fundamentals with a focus on performance optimisation & reliability of the system.

•Good to have experience working with distributed systems & databases (SQL, NoSQL, Cache), stream-processing (Kafka), message-queuing (RabbitMQ) & search & analytics platform (ELK).
