Role & responsibilities :

- Lead obstetric care within MatCare, ensuring high-quality services and patient satisfaction.
- Provide clinical expertise in the management of obstetric cases, including prenatal care, delivery, and postnatal care.
- Supervise and mentor junior obstetricians, nurses, and support staff to ensure adherence to best practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including gynecologists, neonatologists, and pediatricians, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of obstetric services to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Engage in patient education and counseling regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
- Foster a culture of patient-centered care, empathy,



and professionalism within the obstetrics department.

Preferred candidate profile : Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as an obstetrician, preferably in a hospital or fertility clinic setting.

Demonstrated experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and complicated obstetric cases.

- Expertise in obstetric medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, obstetric ultrasound, labor management, and postpartum care.
- Robust clinical decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize patient safety and well-being.
- Proficient in performing obstetric procedures, including cesarean sections, instrumental deliveries, and obstetric emergencies.
- Knowledge of current trends, research, and evidence-based practices in obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine.
