Job Summary

Intel BIOS Validation / Debug Engineer Role Summary: Responsible for BIOS validation, debug, triage, and root cause analysis for Intel client/server platforms. Own test execution, issue investigation, automation, and quality sign-off across product milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Execute BIOS validation test plans and verify platform features.Debug BIOS, firmware, and platform-level issues using logs, POST codes, and debug tools.Perform failure triage, root cause analysis, and defect tracking.Validate platform features such as Memory, PCIe, RAS, Security, Power Management, Storage, and Networking.Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.Collaborate with Architecture, Firmware, OS,



and Hardware teams for issue resolution.Generate validation reports and support release sign-off activities.

Skill Requirements

Solid understanding of BIOS/UEFI architectureand x86 platforms.Experience with BIOS validation, debug, and platform bring-up.Hands-on experience with ITP, POST code analysis, serial logs, and silicon debug tools.Knowledge of Server/Client platform architecture,Memory, PCIe, and RAS features.Proficiency in Python and test automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements

Experience: 3-8 years in BIOS Validation, Platform Validation, or Firmware Debug
