Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and reporting functions for the largest operational entity within our Group. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

- Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors & customer & perform outstanding balances reconciliation.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with local regulations.




- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process.
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries to ensure a smooth audit.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve ef
- ficiency.
- Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant Accounting Standards.
- Consolidate financial data and provide timely and accurate reports to management.

• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Take on other ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance / accounting.
- Minimum experience in accounting and finance role of 2 years & above.

• Strong understanding of accounting.
- Experience in FinTech or Financial industries is highly preferred.
- Experience with an audit firm is an added advantage.
- Understanding of accounting systems such as Xero is an added advantage.
- Good attitude & fast learner, with solid interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
