Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting and practical experience in the jewellery industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, jewellery stock accounting, purchase and sales entries, reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records.
- Manage jewellery stock accounting, including gold, silver, diamond and other jewellery items.
- Record and verify purchase, sales, returns, exchange, and repair transactions.
- Maintain proper records of jewellery inventory and conduct regular stock reconciliation.
- Reconcile physical jewellery stock with system/accounting records.
- Handle cash, bank, credit card, UPI, and other payment reconciliations.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
- Manage vendor and customer ledgers and conduct regular reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and coordinate with consultants when required.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.




- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
- Identify discrepancies in accounts or stock and take corrective action.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred).
- 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the jewellery industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Experience with jewellery inventory and stock reconciliation will be highly preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of Tally / ERP / accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have previously worked with jewellery showrooms, jewellery retailers, gold/silver businesses, diamond businesses, or jewellery manufacturing companies will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
