Senior Accountant

About the Role The Artarium Company is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian statutory requirements, along with excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and perform regular ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Manage invoicing, expense verification, and payment processing.
- Assist with budgeting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.




- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred
- CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
- Experience in a growing or multi-business organization is preferred.
