Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in the Pune Division.

The Senior

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The role will oversee the preparation of financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Accountant will monitor cash flow, analyze financial data to provide insights to management,



and coordinate with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders as needed. The role will also involve implementing process improvements, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions in a fast-growing solar energy setting.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; professional certifications such as CA/CPA/CMA are preferred.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role; experience in manufacturing, renewable energy, or related industries is a plus.
