About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, experience in telecalling/counselling, and the ability to effectively handle leads and coordinate with students.

Candidates with an education, training, ed-tech, or academic counselling background will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and follow up with leads through calls and other communication channels.
- Understand students' requirements and recommend suitable courses/programs.
- Coordinate with students regarding course details, counselling sessions, enrolment, and follow-ups.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing students.
- Convert qualified leads into enrolments through effective counselling.
- Maintain accurate lead and student records.
- Follow up with interested students and ensure timely communication.
- Coordinate with the internal team for counselling sessions and student requirements.
- Achieve assigned calling,



follow-up, and enrolment targets.
- Provide a positive and professional student experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in Academic Counselling, Telecalling, Inside Sales, Ed-Tech, Education, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Experience in handling leads and student follow-ups.
- Dedicated, responsible, and target-oriented approach.
- Good coordination and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable handling regular outbound and inbound calls.
- Education/Academic Counselling background will be highly preferred.
