Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile software development teams, remove impediments, improve delivery predictability, and promote continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective Scrum practices while enabling strong collaboration between Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Business, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scrum & Agile Facilitation

- Facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Ensure Scrum principles, roles, events, and practices are effectively followed.
- Coach teams toward self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support the Product Owner in maintaining an effective and prioritized product backlog.

2. Delivery & Sprint Management

- Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown/burnup, and delivery commitments.
- Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and impediments at an early stage.
- Drive timely resolution of impediments.
- Improve sprint predictability and delivery consistency.
- Coordinate dependencies across multiple Agile teams where required.

3. Stakeholder Management

- Facilitate communication between Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Business, and Management.
- Provide transparent reporting on sprint and release progress.
- Escalate significant delivery risks and dependencies appropriately.
- Protect the development team from unnecessary interruptions and frequent scope changes.

4. Continuous Improvement





- Facilitate retrospectives and ensure agreed action items are implemented.
- Identify opportunities to improve Agile processes and engineering practices.
- Monitor recurring issues such as carry-over stories, defect leakage, unplanned work, and missed commitments.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

5. Quality & Release Support

- Work closely with QA and Engineering teams to improve Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
- Monitor defects, production incidents, technical debt, and quality trends.
- Support release planning and coordination.
- Ensure quality and delivery risks are clearly visible to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and Secure principles.
- Experience working with software development and QA teams.
- Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, YouTrack, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Ability to analyze Agile metrics and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder and dependency-management skills.
