Job Summary

We are looking for a senior SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) Lead Functional Analyst with 12+ years of SAP SD/OTC experience to support an SAP RISE / S/4HANA upgrade initiative. The candidate should have strong hands-on functional expertise, upgrade and defect-resolution experience, and the ability to independently lead the Outbound/OTC workstream and manage stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the single Outbound/OTC POC for SAP RISE upgrade activities. - Independently lead the SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash workstream and manage business and IT stakeholders. - Coordinate with Outbound Architects, SMEs, technical teams,



and other functional teams. - Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve upgrade-related defects. - Work closely with ABAP/technical teams to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions. - Assess the impact of upgrade changes on existing OTC processes, configurations, enhancements, interfaces, and integrations. - Lead functional testing, SIT, regression testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and deployment readiness. - Manage dependencies and integration points with FI, MM, EWM/WM, logistics, and other SAP modules. - Prepare/review functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms. - Track risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables and drive them to closure. - Provide regular status updates to project leadership and proactively escalate critical issues. - Support cutover, deployment, hyper care, and post-upgrade stabilization activities.

Required SAP SD/ OTC Functional Skills

- 12+ years of hands-on SAP SD / Order-to-Cash experience, with solid S/4HANA exposure. - Solid end-to-end understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, including Sales Order → Delivery → Picking/Packing → PGI → Billing. - Strong configuration experience in: - Sales document types - Item categories and schedule line categories - Copy control - Pricing procedures and condition techniques - Partner determination - Text and output determination/management - Incompletion procedures - Availability Check / ATP - Shipping and delivery processing - Billing and invoice processing - Returns, credit/debit memos,



and cancellations - Credit management - Account determination - Strong understanding of Business Partner and SD master data in S/4HANA. - Good understanding of outbound logistics and integration with WM/EWM. - Strong integration knowledge across SD-FI, SD-MM, SD-WM/EWM, and related logistics processes. - Experience troubleshooting IDocs, interfaces, output issues, and integration failures related to OTC. - Ability to perform root-cause analysis for complex functional and cross-module issues.

Lead Functional Analyst Skills

- Ability to independently gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. - Perform fit-gap and impact analysis and recommend appropriate solutions. - Prepare clear functional specifications for developments and enhancements. - Work effectively with ABAP developers, integration teams, architects, and other functional consultants. - Strong experience with configuration, unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management. - Ability to review existing customizations and assess their impact during an S/4HANA upgrade. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to lead discussions with business teams, architects, SMEs, and technical teams. - Strong ownership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Experience coordinating offshore/onshore or cross-functional teams is preferred.

SAP RISE / Upgrade Experience

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP RISE upgrade projects is strongly preferred. - Experience analyzing and resolving defects introduced during an upgrade. - Understanding of upgrade impact on existing configuration, custom developments, interfaces, and business processes. - Experience supporting regression testing and validating critical OTC processes after an upgrade. - Familiarity with upgrade-related remediation, testing, cutover, and stabilization activities. - Upgrade experience is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with very strong S/4HANA OTC lead experience.
