We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant with 12+ years of experience and a strong CA/Chartered Accountant background. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP PM, excellent understanding of maintenance and asset-related business processes, and experience working on end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, maintenance teams, finance teams, and SAP functional/technical teams to deliver SAP solutions and support business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP PM implementation projects.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP PM solutions.
- Configure and implement SAP Plant Maintenance processes.
- Strong understanding of Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance.

- Design and optimize maintenance business processes in SAP.
- Work on integration of SAP PM with FI/CO, MM, PP and other SAP modules.
- Strong understanding of the costing and accounting aspects of maintenance activities, including maintenance order settlement and cost allocation.
- Work closely with Finance/Controlling teams on asset and maintenance-related accounting processes.
- Conduct workshops with business and maintenance stakeholders.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts and process documentation.
- Support SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.




- Analyze and resolve complex SAP PM functional issues.
- Coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and workflows.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior SAP consultants.
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP PM processes.

Mandatory Skills

- 12+ years of SAP PM experience
- CA / Chartered Accountant background
- End-to-end SAP implementation experience – Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP PM / Plant Maintenance
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and asset management.
- Good understanding of SAP PM integration with FI/CO and MM.
- Experience with maintenance order costing and settlement.
- Strong business process and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA PM / Asset Management.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori.
- Experience in large-scale SAP transformation/implementation projects.
- Knowledge of integration with MM, FI/CO and PP.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should combine solid SAP PM functional expertise with a CA/Finance background, enabling effective understanding of both maintenance operations and the financial impact of maintenance and asset-related processes.
