Purpose: The Platform Leader is accountable for delivering the strategic technical design, implementation, and long-term vision for applications and integrations under the Optimus program. This role involves strategic leadership, working closely with key stakeholders to align platform initiatives with business goals, ensuring that the technology landscape supports current needs while also preparing for future growth and innovation. In partnership with our SI partner, AMS Partner, SAP, and the business technology services (BTS) architecture team, this role oversees planning and delivery across Basis, Infrastructure, Security, technical development, integrations, and overall technical architecture of our global SAP solution.

The role demands a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and good relationship management.

Scope: This is a global role covering TwiningsOvo (TwO) international businesses. The role will require occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership in the implementation of platforms and applications under the Optimus program, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and long-term strategy.
- Oversee the development and execution of the platform and integration strategy, ensuring that platforms are secure by design, scalable,



and able to support the future growth of the business.
- Respond strategically to recent and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive rather than reactive responses.
- Develop and implement policies for managing applications and platforms securely, including identity and access management, patching, and disaster recovery, with a focus on future-proofing the technology landscape.
- - - Provide the strategic implementation of iPaaS platforms that deliver any-to-any integration across heterogeneous applications in hybrid landscapes worldwide.
- Foster innovation and strategic thinking in the development and building of a centralized, well-documented API estate, promoting reuse and supporting API versioning and lifecycle management.
- Shape the current and target state of application and integration architectures, defining and managing strategic standards, guidelines, and processes to govern integration and future expansion.
- Ensure the seamless transition from the program to BAU of all platforms, applications, and integrations, establishing comprehensive strategic processes and comprehensive documentation to support long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate strategically with AMS teams to analyze operations and develop cost-effective strategies to reduce manual tasks and improve the overall health and performance of underlying platforms.
- Stay ahead of technology trends and explore the strategic application of existing, new,



and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
- Develop strategic partnerships with other leaders to implement new platforms, develop custom solutions, and modernize integrations to support the company’s strategic direction.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key technology suppliers, ensuring that their roadmaps align with our long-term strategic goals.
- Manage financial budgets strategically, ensuring that investments are aligned with the long-term health and strategic direction of the platforms and applications.
- Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience working with SAP technologies in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans for platform security and emerging security threats.
- Expertise in future-focused SAP tech stack/platforms: i.e., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ALM, IAG, Ariba, IBP, etc.
- Proven strategic leadership in developing and delivering large-scale IT projects across multiple geographies and platforms.
- Good strategic planning skills with experience in shaping and delivering long-term technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Demonstrated growth in influencing and executing strategic decisions that balance business needs and technical capabilities.
- Proven experience in implementing strategic partnerships and maintaining third-party relationships to support business and technical strategies
