Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on SAP ECP / EC Payroll QA Test Analyst with strong US Payroll experience to support testing for SAP Employee Central Payroll implementations. The candidate should have experience in SIT, integration testing, parallel payroll testing, UAT and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute test cases and test scripts for SAP ECP / EC Payroll across SIT, UAT, regression and parallel testing.
- Test US Payroll scenarios including gross-to-net, federal/state/local taxes, wage types, garnishments, retro and off-cycle payroll.
- Perform EC to ECP integration testing for employee master, compensation, organization and position data replication.
- Test payroll interfaces including ACH/NACHA bank files, GL, Time & Attendance and third-party vendor feeds.
- Execute payroll parallel runs and compare legacy payroll vs ECP results, identifying and documenting variances.
- Validate BSI TaxFactory results and US payroll tax scenarios.




- Execute year-end testing including W-2 / W-2c scenarios.
- Analyze payroll logs, wage types, payroll schemas/PCRs and control records.
- Log and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM/QC, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Review test scripts, identify coverage gaps and provide execution status to the test lead.

Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of Payroll domain experience with SAP HCM Payroll / SAP ECP / EC Payroll.
- Strong hands-on US Payroll experience.
- Knowledge of US Federal, State & Local Tax, BSI TaxFactory, Garnishments, Retro, Off-cycle and W-2.
- 2+ years of hands-on SIT / Integration Testing experience.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to ECP replication.
- Strong experience in Payroll Integration Testing.
- Experience with Parallel Payroll Testing and Variance Analysis.
- Knowledge of Payroll Schema, PCR, Wage Types, Payroll Control Record and Payroll Log Analysis.
- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA / HP ALM / Azure DevOps.

Positive to Have
- Multi-state US Payroll experience.
- Experience with ADP, Ceridian or other legacy payroll systems.
- Prior consulting / SI project experience.
