About The Job:

- We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) consultant with strong reporting expertise and ERP finance domain knowledge.

- Experience with Maconomy is preferred.

- The consultant should be capable of supporting cross-system integrations.

- The consultant should be capable of resolving end-to-end issues within a complex Application Management Services (AMS) workplace.

- Strong experience in SAP BusinessObjects reporting and report development.

- Good understanding of ERP finance processes and reporting requirements.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting and integration issues.

- Ability to work effectively within a complex AMS support environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Reporting and SAP BO Development

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports using Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports.

- Develop and manage Universes, including the semantic layer, using the Information Design Tool (IDT) and Universe Design Tool (UDT).

- Optimise report performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.

- Schedule and monitor report jobs, batch processes, and automated report distribution.

AMS Support and Operations

- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP BO incidents, service requests, and enhancements.

- Troubleshoot report failures and performance degradation.

- Investigate data inconsistencies and reconciliation issues.

- Resolve report scheduling and refresh failures.

- Ensure adherence to SLA, audit, and change-management processes.

ERP Finance and Business Understanding





- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand finance reporting requirements.

- Analyse and validate data across ERP finance modules, including:

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Project Accounting and Costing

- Support reconciliation between ERP source systems and SAP BO reports.

Integration and Cross-System Support

- Investigate and resolve issues across the ERP, SAP BO, and reporting layers.

- Support integration between SAP BO and upstream systems, such as Maconomy, SAP BW, or other finance systems.

- Collaborate with ERP and Enterprise Performance Management application teams, including OneStream, to support end-to-end issue resolution.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

- Partner with business users and stakeholders to enhance reporting solutions.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, report standardisation, and automation.

- Contribute to documentation, the knowledge base, and organisational best practices.

Qualifications

- Total Exp-10 yrs+

- Relevant Exp-7+

Required Skills and Experience

- Strong experience with SAP BusinessObjects, including:

- Web Intelligence (WebI)

- Universe Design using IDT or UDT

- Report scheduling and administration

- Experience working in an AMS or application-support environment.

- Strong understanding of reporting, data moClienting, and analytics concepts.

- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

- Experience resolving data and reporting issues in enterprise systems.

Preferred Skills





- Experience with ERP systems in the finance domain. ERP finance exposure is mandatory.

- Experience with Maconomy ERP is preferred but not mandatory.

- Exposure to SAP BW or other data warehouse systems.

- Previous experience with cross-application integrations and reporting ecosystems.

- Understanding of financial reporting and related business processes.
