Key Responsibilities

- Development and Enhancement: Develop and enhance SAP applications using both classical and object-oriented ABAP and Web Dynpro technologies. This includes creating custom reports, interfaces, enhancements (BADIs, user exits, enhancement framework), forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms), and workflows (RICEFW objects).
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solutions.
- User Interface Design: Design and implement user interface (UI) components using the Web Dynpro framework, ensuring a focus on user experience and adherence to the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.
- Testing and Support: Perform unit testing, participate in integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications and production issues.
- Documentation and Standards: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user guides, ensuring all development adheres to SAP development standards and best practices.

Integration:



Work on integrating Web Dynpro applications with various SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, HR) and other internal/external systems using technologies like RFCs, BAPIs, and OData services.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Robust hands-on experience with Web Dynpro ABAP architecture and components.
- Experience with development tools like Floorplan Manager (FPM) and ABAP List Viewer (ALV).
- Knowledge of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate, analyze, and solve complex software problems.
- Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Education/Experience: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, typically with at least 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a focus on Web Dynpro. Experience with modern UI technologies like SAP Fiori and UI5 is often considered an advantage.
