Sand Blasting Operator

Position: Sand Blasting Operator

Qualification: ITI / Diploma

Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience

:

- Operate sand blasting and abrasive blasting equipment for surface preparation of steel structures, pipes, tanks, vessels, and other industrial components.
- Perform abrasive blasting to remove rust, mill scale, old paint, corrosion, and other surface contaminants.
- Prepare surfaces according to specified blasting standards and project requirements.
- Select appropriate abrasive materials, blasting pressure, nozzle size, and equipment settings based on the job requirements.
- Inspect blasted surfaces and ensure the required surface cleanliness and profile are achieved.




- Follow safety procedures while handling blasting equipment, abrasive materials, hoses, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Carry out routine inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance of blasting machines and accessories.
- Work safely in confined areas, workshops, yards, and industrial/project sites when required.
- Coordinate with painters, supervisors, QC inspectors, and other site personnel to complete surface preparation work.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow company HSE and environmental requirements.
- Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and work-related issues to the supervisor

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
